Montana Møbler (Furniture) is a Danish furniture company founded by Peter J. Lassen in 1982. In addition to shelving systems, Montana also manufactures cabinets, tables and mirrors, as well as chairs including the Panton One chair (formerly known as the Tivoli Chair) by Verner Panton. The Montana Shelving System and other Montana modular systems are designed by Peter J. Lassen. Montana's table and chair series are designed by af Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton, Andreas Hansen, Peter J. Lassen, Joakim Lassen, schmidt hammer lassen design and Salto & Sigsgaard. Father and son, Peter and Joakim Lassen, have designed several of Montana's products - often in collaboration with Montana's design team and external designers.

Before Peter J. Lassen founded Montana Møbler A/S, he worked closely with architects Arne Jacobsen, Jørn Utzon, Piet Hein and Verner Panton. All design and production of Montana products take place in Denmark, where 160 employees in Haarby on Funen daily transform drawings and ideas into modules. When production started in 1982, the production area was 500 m2, and today it is over 19,000 m2.

Today, Peter J. Lassen is a member of the Board of Directors and Joakim Lassen, who came from the position of Creative Director in Montana, took up the position of CEO on March 1, 2015.
