Legal Basis for Processing Your Personal Data
Our processing of your personal data is based on:
· Consent, GDPR Article 6, section 1, letter a, for newsletter subscription and orders as a Private Shop customer
· Consent, contract, legal obligation, or legitimate interest, Article 6, section 1, letters a, b, c, and f, when receiving an employee list
· Consent, legal obligation, or contract, Article 6, section 1 letters a, b, and c, for ordering in our corporate shops
Privacy Policy Regarding Your Registration
· When you register, we store the information you have entered - your name, address, phone number, and/or email address, delivery address, selected gift, and payment information, as well as any complaints. We retain this information as long as it is relevant under the applicable processing and legislation.
· The purpose is to ensure that you receive the desired product and that we can assist you with any complaints, customer service, or other issues.
· Your information is stored as personal data in accordance with GDPR. You can always contact gdpr@metz.dk to request changes or deletion of your information. We treat your personal data confidentially, and access is limited to employees who need to process the information.
· In some cases, we share your personal data with Metz's partners and suppliers, such as IT providers or newsletter services. These partners only process the data on behalf of Metz and according to Metz's instructions. This sharing is necessary to perform the tasks according to the Data Protection Act's Article 6, letter b.
Withdrawal of Consent
If our processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you should know that consent is given voluntarily and can be withdrawn at any time by clicking unsubscribe in the newsletter or emailing gdpr@metz.dk.
If you withdraw consent, it does not affect the lawfulness of our processing based on your previous consent up to the withdrawal point. The withdrawal will only take effect from that time.
What Personal Data Do We Collect?
General personal data such as your name, address, contact details, and payment information when subscribing to newsletters, ordering from our B2C shop, receiving employee lists, or placing orders on our B2B webshop.
How Do We Process Your Data?
We handle your personal data confidentially, and access is restricted to employees who need to process the data.
Storage of Your Personal Data
We only keep your personal data for the relevant period. We retain your data for up to 5 years according to the Bookkeeping Act § 12, section 1.
