PEUGEOT was founded in 1810 in the French city of Quingey, and its headquarters is still located there. In the mid-19th century, the production of coffee and pepper mills started. Today, more than 160 years later, PEUGEOT is a reference for the chefs and the preferred brand of most chefs. PEUGEOT produces six unique mills, all designed to maximize the flavour and aroma each individual spice. The grinders are available in classic and modern designs and materials.

PEUGEOT manufactures spice grinders with three types of mills: Electric, mechanical and mechanical with the patented uSelect system. With uSelect, the grinder can be set to 6 different grain sizes with clear bar markings from coarse to very finely grated pepper or salt. The setting does not change when the grinder is used. On a traditional mechanical grinder, the roughness is adjusted by loosening / tightening the top screw. ALWAYS turn the grinder clockwise.

The PEUGEOT range of grinders also include coffee grinders, and the mechanisms of today's grinders are remarkably like the original grinders in 1840. The grinder is designed specifically for grinding coffee.

After more than a century PEUGEOT has been synonymous with French gourmet cooking, and the range was expanded in 2006 with a wide selection of wine accessories including corkscrews and specialized wine carafes in mouth-blown glass.
