It all began with a passionate barbecue enthusiast named George Stephen, who invented history's first ball barbecue in 1952 - a barbeque that would turn out to change the barbecue culture around the world. He did not want to make the world to fall in love with the barbecue - he just wanted to find a way to grill a better steak for family and friends. And so he did! It is now more than 60 years ago.

"We are not metal benders - we are in the entertainment business". So short, Weber can be described. For us, a barbecue is much more than a barbecue - it is the focal point for unforgettable experiences. It was this philosophy that George Stephen built Weber on ... it is the philosophy that has revolutionized the grill world ... and that is the philosophy that still infuses Weber to this day
