The ward figures from Kay Boyesen are inspired by Queen's beloved and treasured guards at Amalienborg Castle. Boyesen created the hand-painted guards in 1942 - at a time when there was so much focus on national symbols. But the interest in the garments, available in several variants, is untouched today, and soldier m / rifle is one of Kay Boyesen's most popular characters.
