Kay Bojesen's iconic and beloved Elephant has celebrated its 70th anniversary. We celebrate this with a Reworked Elephant – a special edition created from a wonderful mix of different types of wood, for example teak, walnut, oak, ash and maple – all surplus and residual wood that would otherwise have gone to waste. With a focus on upcycling and minimizing resource waste, the Reworked Elephant gets a new, modern and sustainable dimension, so that it not only points back in time, but also forward.
We cannot guarantee which types of wood each of the Reworked Elephants is produced from. But on the other hand, we can guarantee that each individual Elephant is, if possible, even more unique than the original classic. The small Reworked Elephant measures 9.5 cm in height, has a 70th anniversary stamp under the foot and comes in a special wooden anniversary box.
