Inspired by Denmark's national symbols from Amalienborg Castle Square, the first guards were created in 1940 for King Christian X's 70th birthday. The new version, made as a silhouette in The wood is selected from producers who help ensure that the forest can reproduce what is cut down, is easy to store and display for festive occasions .
