The silk duvet is handmade from the best mulberry silk cocoons. A duvet with real natural silk filling. Silk filling can absorb moisture of up to 33% of its own weight. At the same time, silk has a completely unique ability to transport moisture away again. The duvet is Oeko-Tex certified.
The raw material in the quilt is silk from the cocoon of the silkworm, which feeds on insecticide-free mulberry leaves. The silk is stretched into fine webs that are laid layer upon layer in the full size of the quilt.
This quilt does not bear comparison with machine-produced/quilted quilts, as these quilts are made from the poorer quality tussah silk which is treated with chemicals during production.
Can be used for duvet covers of 200 cm. but is ideally suited for 220 cm. cover. The duvet is packed in a practical bag.
